Rules & Acts

As per Sections 7 to 18, Sections 403 and 404 of Chapter 26, and the Election Rules under Chapter 1 of the Schedule of the Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Act, all election-related procedures are carried out.

    During the election period, the voter list can be purchased from the Election Office.

    The cost is based on the number of pages in the voter list – ₹1 per page, and ₹2 for double-sided (front and back) pages.

    Payment must be made directly at the Election Office and a receipt is issued.

    The voter list is made available within 1 to 2 days after payment.

    An application must be submitted at the Election Office along with the required payment. The ward map is then provided.

    One ward map costs ₹600. A combined map of all wards costs ₹6000.

    During and outside the election period, dedicated staff is appointed to accept citizen applications at the Election Office.

    Yes, this service is open to all citizens. Any person can obtain the voter list and map by paying the applicable fee.
