Department Overview

The Urban Development Department is a crucial department of the Municipal Corporation responsible for the welfare of urban poor, formation and development of Self Help Groups, assistance to street vendors, and implementation of various welfare schemes.

    General Questions

    Information about the BPL list is available at the divisional office. Please visit the office with your Aadhaar number and ID proof. You can also check through the online portal.

    Apply through the official portal or visit the UCD office with your Vendor ID and Aadhaar Card. Staff will guide you through the entire process. Visit the website pmswanidhi.solapurcorporation.org to apply online.

    Aadhaar Card, Proof of Residence, Income Certificate, Caste Certificate (if applicable), Passport-size Photographs, and Bank Account Details are required.

    Training & Employment

    Yes. Under DAY-NULM, free skill training is provided with certification and job placement assistance. Contact the office or visit daynulm.solapurcorporation.org for more information.

    Form a group of at least 10-20 members and contact the divisional office. ID proofs, address proof, and a savings book for all members are required.

    After training completion, job fairs are organized and connections with companies are facilitated. Loan facilities for self-employment are also available.

    Certificates & Documents

    If all documents are complete, the certificate is prepared within 15 to 30 days. You can inquire about the status at the office or check on the portal.

    Submit the application 3 months before the certificate expires. The old certificate, updated income certificate, and other updated documents are required.

    File a loss report at the police station, obtain a copy, and submit an application at the divisional office. A fixed fee is applicable for a duplicate certificate.
