Stall and Platform Transfer

Stalls and platforms can be obtained through the auction process of the Market Department. If the person who obtained the platform dies after taking possession, his/her heirs can apply, and after scrutiny, the transfer can be done.

Stalls and platforms are related to the Market Department in the market area.

Heirs should attach to the application: Death certificate, Xerox copy of the agreement paper, Tax N.O.C., Xerox of Aadhaar Card, N.O.C. for payment of all dues.

In the Market Department, the transfer fee is Rs. 20,000 for mini platforms and Rs. 50,000 for approved platforms.

The period to complete all these works is 6 days.

Regarding Stray Animals

Stray animals means animals left unattended and grazing/standing on main roads.

Oxen, Cows, Calves, Buffaloes, Horses are included.

The Municipal Corporation has 2 Cattle Catcher Vehicles available for catching stray animals.

Caught stray animals are permanently deposited in the Goshala (cattle shelter).

According to the notice in the local newspaper dated 01/05/2025, these animals are permanently seized. Regarding this, the Commissioner has been granted all powers under the Disaster Management Act.

Hawker Registration Certificate Issuance

Hawker Registration Certificate means a permit issued for 1 year to conduct business by moving around the city.

At the Market Department, the application is registered in the register through the Permit Inspector after verifying the application, Aadhaar Card, business location, and photo of the four-wheeler vehicle.

For 1 year, a fee of Rs. 5,000 is charged as per rules.

The period for Hawker Certificate registration is 8 days.

It provides permission to conduct mobile vending business at specific places in the city for 1 year.
