The benefits of the schemes and initiatives provided by the Women & Child Welfare Department are for girls, women, and children in Solapur city. This includes free bus service for girls from Std. 1st to 10th in all schools within the Municipal Corporation limits, as well as for boys in Municipal Corporation schools from Std. 1st to 10th.

Yes. To avail benefits of the Municipal Corporation's Women & Child Welfare Department schemes, it is mandatory for the beneficiary to be a resident within the Municipal Corporation limits and possess a Ration Card and Aadhaar Card in their name.
• Short-term (15-20 days) vocational training for household use and beauty enhancement for girls and women (15 types of basic training). • Installation of Sanitary Pad Vending and Disposal Machines for girls and women (at SMC Schools, Maternity Homes, UPHC Centers, SMC Head Office). • Bal Melaav (Children's Fair), providing school books to students of Std. 9th and 10th (for Municipal School students). • Providing play materials for students from Kindergarten to Std. 4th in Municipal Schools, and school bags (including water bottle and tiffin box) for students from Std. 1st to 10th.
No fee is charged if done online by oneself. If done at an E-Mahaseva Kendra, they charge a service fee.
