Wildlife vide order dated 28.12.2021 by the Central Zoo Authority Mahatma Gandhi animals as per the provisions of Section 38H Pot Section 6 of the Protection Act 1972 While canceling the recognition of the museum, it has been reported that the norms of Recognition of Zoo Rules, 2009 are being violated and a total of 45 errors have been mentioned to be addressed. Accordingly, to complete the pending matters related to the zoo and restore the legal recognition, to complete some new necessary construction matters in the zoo and to construct a veterinary hospital etc., an amount of Rs. 2,95,41,932/- was received from DPDC for fund sanction and administrative sanction under the Regional Tourism Development Plan 2024-25.
