Department Overview

The Licensing Department is a crucial division of the Municipal Corporation responsible for issuing and renewing licenses for various businesses, industries, cinema halls, lodging houses, marriage halls, and handling related functions.

Online Application Process

Applications should be submitted through the online portal of Solapur Municipal Corporation at www.solapurcorporation.gov.in

After opening the website, click on the 'e-Services' tab, then open the 'License Services' tab and fill in the required information for the selected business type.

A list of eligible license business types and sub-types is included. Clicking there provides all relevant information. Select the business type accordingly.

In the 'License Services' tab, click on 'New License Registration' or 'N.O.C. for Licensed Business'. All information is available online.

Payment & Approval

After approval, a payment message will be sent to the mobile number and email provided during application. Click the link provided to access online payment options (Debit/Credit Card, Internet Banking, UPI).

After payment, click on the 'Reprint' tab. Enter the Application Number and Mobile Number to get the license copy. The NOC certificate will be available in a new tab. (Ensure pop-ups are enabled for NOC).

Go to the 'Reprint' tab, enter the Application Number and Mobile Number. Ensure pop-ups are enabled.

Upon payment as described above, the payment receipt and license certificate are immediately available on the respective tab.

Documents & Requirements

Before cancellation, license fees for the current year must be paid. Upload a copy of the paid and renewed license, and a copy of the notice regarding business closure under the Shops Act.

Submit a registered/notarized Partnership Deed. Also, submit documents like Aadhar Card, Photos of all partners.

To add a partner, a registered or notarized amended Partnership Deed including the new partner's name is required. Upload this deed with the application. Also, submit the updated registration certificate noting the addition, along with the new partner's Aadhar Card and Photo.

To remove a partner, a registered or notarized amended Partnership Deed excluding the partner's name is required. Upload this deed with the application. Also, submit the updated registration certificate noting the removal.
