AMRUT Mission (Central Government Scheme): Solapur city's underground sewage project comprising 246.14 km drainage line and 20 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at Desai Nagar.

Maharashtra Suvarna Jayanti Nagarotthan Mega Campaign: Underground sewage system with 207.54 km drainage line and 49 MLD sewage treatment plant at Degaon.

Complaints regarding drainage line chokage and chamber repairs can be lodged at Solapur Municipal Corporation Divisional Offices No. 1 to 8 and the main office Drainage Department. Complaints for drainage lines up to 12" are acted upon by Municipal Divisional Offices No. 1 to 8. Complaints for drainage lines above 12" are acted upon by the Municipal Corporation main office Drainage Department. Maintenance and repair works of existing drainage lines are carried out with the help of jetting machines, desilting machines, rodding machines, and manual rodding.

Maintenance and Repairs

After receiving a complaint, a site inspection is conducted within 48 hours for redressal. If it's only a drainage line chokage, it is resolved immediately. However, depending on the on-ground situation and necessity, if works like changing drainage connections, manhole repairs, or changing individual drainage connections are required, it may take a period according to the work needed.

Services and Facilities

Drainage NOC is required for building permission. To apply for NOC, application can be made at the Municipal Administrative Building, 3rd Floor, Public Health Engineer's Office.

Within 15 days of application.

To obtain NOC from the drainage department, the following documents should be submitted to the Municipal Corporation's concerned zonal office. 1) Current half-yearly property card / 7/12 extract 2) No dues certificate for property tax (TAX NOC) 3) Copies of approved building permission map and Commencement Certificate. 4) Map for new drainage connection and site location map 5) In case of cooperative housing society, no dues certificate from the society.
